If you’re anything like us, the humble Sunday morning brunch is probably your go-to hangover cure and a regular staple in your weekend agenda. There’s no denying that an indulgent sleep-in followed by a perfect smashed avo, creamy eggs benny or mountain of fluffy pancakes is hard to top.

But why dull down your brekkie with a plain old flat white when you could level up your mid-morning standard with an endless supply of bubbly fun? That’s right, we are talking boozy brunch and, boy, does Brisbane have some stellar options to spritz up your weekend.

So, whether you’re in urgent need of an upgrade from your daily microwaveable quick oats or simply chasing an excuse to indulge in a spot of day drinking, look no further. Here is our definitive list of the best boozy brunches Brisbane has to offer!

Northside Brisbanites raise your glasses because we have something to cheers to! Nundah’s cute and cozy Blockhouse Small Bar has just dropped a rad new brunch menu, topped with a too-good-to-be-true $25 unlimited mimosa package. In other words, they’re offering you and a friend (or a few) the opportunity to delight in 90 minutes of unlimited bubbles and OJ while tucking into the most important meal of the day. We’ll drink to that! Weekend already booked up? Don’t fret, because this Blockhouse is giving us an excuse to board the day drinking train from 8am to 2.30pm, seven days a week (Yes, every. single. day.)! Monday morning mimosas have never been so socially acceptable and we have never been so excited.

Ling Lings | Fortitude Valley

Disco dolls, dudes, and divas, it’s your time to shine. Okay, so this one is technically lunch, not brunch, but we’re gonna let it slide because it’s that damn good! Plus, some people just aren’t morning people, especially when nursing a headache after a big Saturday night on the town. Kicking off every Sunday at a very civilised 2pm, Ling Lings’ vibrant South Asian-inspired neon bar transforms into a Dim Sum Disco. For $45 a head, you and your crew can enjoy a nine-course dim sum banquet, complete with frosé, mimosas, Aperol spritz, wine, and a beer selection while you boogie to back-to-back disco, house, and party tunes. P.S. Plant-based pals, you haven’t been forgotten! Ling Lings also has an alternative eight-course vegan banquet on offer, so everyone can join the party!
