7 Brisbane Weeknight Activities That Beat Your Weekend Plans

Here's to not just living for the weekends

By Bianca Licina | 9th December 2025

Weeknights in Brisbane often get a bad rap, too often written off as the sleepy prelude to weekend plans. But not on our watch. In this city, Tuesday night can hit harder than a usual Saturday if you know where to look, and we’re here to ensure your midweek energy never fades.

Forget ending your day collapsing on your couch and watching the same Netflix series on repeat. Swap the slump for a paint-and-sip with your besties, a moody live sketch night, a cheeky round of dirty bingo, or a trivia night that puts your oddly specific knowledge to the test. Or if the weather is behaving, wrap up the evening with a movie under the stars.

So go on – rewrite your week. Brisbane’s mid-week, after-dark playground doesn’t clock out just because it’s hump day, and neither should you.

By the way, we consider everyone in this list the best of the best! To make finding your next favourite that much easier, we’ve ordered the list alphabetically by suburb and also have filtering tabs for your convenience. Did we miss someone from the list? Let us know here!
