The Calile Is Hosting An Open-Air Summer Feast In Collaboration With Brisbane’s Best Restaurants

Ada Lane after dark

By Bianca Licina | 12th February 2026

There’s nothing like a summer night in Brisbane – when the city slows, the moon rises, and the flavours come alive.

To bid farwell to balmy nights, The Calile invites you to The Rooftop Harvest: Meet The Masters, an exclusive one-night-only dinner under the stars. Ada Lane transforms into an open-air dining room, where the city’s top chefs and sommeliers bring the season’s freshest produce straight from garden to plate.

From garden to plate

Up on the hotel roof, the garden has been busy. Herbs, edible flowers, and sun-ripened summer produce are ready for picking. The city’s top chefs are taking it straight from garden to table with a five-course degustation, finished off with dessert and cheese, all paired with wines poured throughout the night. Every dish comes with a story, introduced by the chef or sommelier behind it – because the experience is just as much about the tales as the tastes.

So who’s cooking?

When it comes to talent, Ada Lane doesn’t compromise. SK Steak & Oyster, Hellenika, sAme sAme, Bianca, Lobby Bar, Cru Bar, The Standard Market Company, and The Calile Hotel team will bring their very best. Think of it as a curated culinary dream team, ready to impress and delight.

Dining with a cause

This isn’t just a dinner – it’s about making a change. Sam Elsom, founder of Sea Forest, will be at the table sharing how Asparagopsis, a native seaweed that reduces methane in livestock, is helping farmers and the planet alike. From the garden to the sea, it’s sustainable eating at its finest.

All profits from the dinner will go to the Sea Forest Foundation and its coastal restoration work, so your ticket is doing good while you dine. Plus, every guest is entered into the Prize Draw with Purpose, featuring:

  • The Calile Package – $5,800

  • The Art Club Experience – $1,000

  • The IL Delfino Package – $3,000

Dress code

It’s intimate, it’s exclusive. Elegant twilight attire is the go-to; think flowing dresses, crisp linens, or anything that whispers summer in Brisbane.

For one night only, Ada Lane becomes more than a restaurant – it’s a stage for food, sustainability, and stories that linger long after the last sip of wine. Are you in? Tickets are selling fast so secure yours before it’s too late.
