One Of Brisbane’s Most Glamorous Gala Dinners Is Back & It’s All For An Incredible Cause
glamour for good
By Tracy Sinclair | 31st July 2026Dust off your favourite cocktail attire and add a touch of gold, because one of Brisbane’s most meaningful nights on the social calendar is set to return. The 2026 Stadium of Hope Gala Dinner will take over The Star Brisbane on Saturday, August 22, bringing together Queensland’s business leaders, sporting greats, and changemakers for an unforgettable evening of inspiring conversation, exceptional entertainment, and heartfelt generosity.
Headlining the night are three extraordinary Australians who know the true meaning of resilience: seven-time world surfing champion Layne Beachley AO, AFLW pioneer Moana Hope, and Paralympian Gerrard Gosens OAM. Together, they’ll share their personal stories of overcoming adversity in what promises to be a powerful and uplifting panel discussion.
As the evening unfolds, guests will enjoy premium dining before hitting the dance floor with Queensland favourites The Hymack Girls, whose signature mix of live vocals, DJs, dancers, and immersive performances guarantees an electric atmosphere, but beyond the glamour lies the true heart of the event.

Dressing up to make a difference
Hosted in support of Act for Kids, every ticket purchased helps provide life-changing support for children and families impacted by trauma, abuse, and neglect. Funds raised on the night will help deliver vital therapy, protection, and support services, giving vulnerable children the opportunity to heal, thrive, and look towards brighter futures.
“Every dollar raised ensures children can access therapy, support, and hope for brighter futures,” says Act for Kids CEO Dr Katrina Lines. Whether you’re gathering friends for a memorable evening out or hosting clients around a table, this is your opportunity to celebrate, connect, and make a genuine difference. After all, a glamorous night filled with inspiring stories, incredible entertainment, and purpose is the kind of event worth getting dressed up for.
