Catch the mischief at Ron Hurley Theatre, Seven Hills, from Thursday, October 30 to Sunday, November 2. Sequins? Mandatory. Feathers? Encouraged. A hint of menace? Essential. Oasis Halloween Boat Party

Why party on land, when you can dance with the dead… on the river. The Oasis Halloween Boat Party is the ultimate bougie-meets-boo experience, located on a three-story yacht cruising straight down the Brisbane River after dark. With DJs spinning, Halloween-inspired cocktails flowing and everlasting riverside views across two nights to choose form (31 October or 1 November), celebrate the spooky season in style. Rave of the Dead – Halloween Costume Party

If your idea of a good scare is with strobe lights and base drops, Triffid’s Rave of the Dead is your graveyard. It’s named Brisbane’s biggest Halloween costume rave for a reason, featuring a killer lineup of DJs including Sensient, Psymon and Eegor, and underground genres, psy trance, techno, prog and DnB. The entertainment doesn’t stop there, with laser shows, fire performers and face painting sure to spook your socks off. It’s loud, it’s chaotic, and it’s exactly the kind of resurrection we want to see. Doors open at 6 PM, but the real haunt begins when the clock strikes 12.
Halloween House of Horror with Dendy

If you prefer your scares seated with snacks on hand, the House of Horror by Dendy Cinemas at the Powerhouse is your chill-but-chilling alternative. Under the full moon by the Brisbane River, watch horror classics like Shaun of the Dead and The Thing on the big outdoor screen.
