For 11 unforgettable days, the coastline transforms into a living, breathing work of art, stretching across three vibrant hubs: Kurrawa Park, Emerald Lakes, and HOTA. This year, under the curatorial eye of celebrated artist Michael Zavros, BLEACH* takes on a whole new level of bold. His unmistakable visual flair infuses the program, delivering an immersive, high-impact festival experience like never before.

What to expect
Under the glossy, high-art eye of guest director Michael Zavros, BLEACH* 2025 has become chicer than ever. Think opera on the beach, floating feminist lounges, equestrian ballet (yes, really), and a sunrise hot air balloon moment so ethereal it will have to replace your morning Pilates.
The must-see? Cavalcade. It’s giving Met Gala meets dressage – with tuxedos, horses and a 24-piece orchestra performing Moonlight on Kurrawa Beach. And if that sounds extra, wait until you step into the Ladies Lounge, a women-only sanctuary, dripping in velvet, cheeky opulence and champagne. Male butlers included. It’s all so fabulously over-the-top, you’d be hard-pressed to find anything more camp.
