On Sunday 13 February, indulge in a long lunch filled with hors d’oeuvres, a four-course menu with carefully paired regional French white wines and a tres magnifique ambience for $165 per person. Or, head in on the big day itself for a romantic dinner with a glass of Champagne and a rose on arrival, before digging into a four-course menu topped with indulgent sweets.
If your 9-5 is getting in the way of your V-Day plans, then take a drive to this stunning winery a little early – it’s worth it. Celebrate the occasion on the weekend of 12-13 February with a variety of dreamy events. There’s a specially curated four-course dinner with matching Sirromet wines in the exclusive Lurleens, or take your love sky high with scenic helicopter flights over the bay from 9am on Sunday. If kicked back is more your style, there will also be live music and picnic hampers on the lawn.
Take your love to Bali with an intoxicating set banquet menu at Bulimba’s charming rooftop restaurant. On Sunday 13 February, Melrose will be offering a lunch sitting at $55 per person or a dinner sitting at $79 per person with a drink on arrival to set the mood, before whisking both your palates away on a romantic getaway.
If fancy isn’t your style, the Regatta Boatshed offers a more low-key Valentine’s Day experience. Whether you’re after lunch or dinner, the Boatshed’s three-course meal will leave your mouth watering, with their poached WA lobster and award-winning sirloin steak. Their authentic tapas style menu and cracking cocktail list makes an unforgettable night for you and your beau.
Patina at Customs House
