I stayed at Dorsett Gold Coast for one night of fun, fair and ultimate relaxation and it went a little like this. After a rather over-indulgent morning at Pac Fair, my partner and I arrived at the hotel and were escorted to the Executive King Room, AKA our digs for the night. After pleading for my partner not to jump on the bed so I could get that shot for IG, we were greeted by a stylish room, its design art deco-inspired, and with a beautiful ocean view. Delighted, we tucked into our complementary chocolate and got straight to relaxing.

Despite it being winter, we couldn’t resist visiting the pool for a quick dip. Lined with plush pool chairs and cabanas and the chic Isoletto Pool Club watering its guests with the finest cocktails, it was clear Dorsett Gold Coast knew how to host a good time.

Before we knew it, the sun set and it was time to get ready for our evening plans. Getting ready was a dream, with their generously sized shower and perfectly lit mirror, it truly was any girl’s paradise. Once I was all dolled up, we enjoyed our complimentary bottle of bubbly on the balcony in our buttery-soft robes before heading out to a local Japanese restaurant for a decadent meal. The night ended with a mandatory trip to The Star Casino, where we tried our luck (and luck we had!).
Despite the buzz from the casino, we were eager to get back to our cosy room. After a dreamy sleep on their cloud-like mattress and pillows, we awoke to the sun over the ocean and headed up to breakfast at the Executive Lounge. An indulgent buffet awaited set against an incredible view of the coastline. The perfect way to end our mini vacay, we pledged to return for another night of luxury as soon as possible.
