That’s right people, we’re talking all things rom com – the movie genre that makes you laugh, cry, and swells your heart all at the same time! While there’s definitely a time and place for a good horror flick, romantic comedies are unquestionably the superior genre.
And we’ve got some great news for all you die-hard rom com fans out there, Brisbane’s Rom Coms & Nom Noms have made their comeback! This free, pop-up cinema and bar can be found nestled in the green space of Post Office Square in Brisbane City every Wednesday in June, so you can enjoy your fave films on the grass, underneath the starry sky, surrounded by Brissy’s city lights – what a dream.

Attendees will get to feast their eyes on the pop-up big screen for free. But of course, you can’t tune into a classic movie without your snacks. So thankfully, there’ll be a range of delicious grazing boxes available from the pop-up bar, Isles Lane, for you to purchase. You can also treat yourself to a little something from their bar. White, red, sparkling, rosé, beer, and soft drinks are all on offer.
So, whether you’re thinking about your next idea for a fun girl’s night, planning an upcoming date, or simply want to eat your feelings and have a cry to a classic piece of cinema (we feel you), nothing heals all wounds quite like a rom com.
