Get the picture
Word on the street is Australia’s largest street art festival is making its return to Brisbane and it’s set to be an epic showcase of local and global creative talent. Get set to paint the town because Brisbane Street Art Festival is back!
The eighth installation of Brisbane Street Art Festival will continue to be a cornerstone of our River City’s cultural calendar, featuring an interactive all-ages workshop program as well as live mural sites scattered across the city. Bringing back Superordinary at Northshore as the headquarters of the event from 6 to 21 May, patrons will once again have the opportunity to rub shoulders with artists, learn about the art, and even try their hand at creating their own works inside the waterfront precinct.
The duration of Brisbane Street Art Festival will see epic murals taking over iconic locations such as Howard Smith Wharves, Queen Street Mall, RNA Showgrounds, and South Bank to name a few. With some of the biggest names in international and interstate street art returning for the two-week festival, expect influential players such as Fintan Magee, Gus Eagleton, Illma Gore, and Tori-Jay Morder to be amongst the many injecting new life and colour in the city. And the best part? Soaking in the arts and culture is totally free!
