Celebrate Spring With Canapés, Live Music & A Wine Pop-Up This October

Enjoy the best of spring while indulging in a tipple or two with friends!

Now that spring has arrived, we’re dreaming of long afternoons with a beer in hand, catching up for a wine & gaggle with the girls, and dinner dates with our love. If, like us, you’re scoping out places to become your new haunt all spring and summer long, we’re pretty keen to let you know of Waterloo Hotel’s Spring Celebration Season Showcase happening this October.

The one-day pop-up will take place Friday, 12 October, and see the iconic establishment transformed into a boozy spring wonderland. Grab the co-workers and tell your boss you’re clocking off early because from 4pm Waterloo will treat guests to roving canapés. Featuring samples from their new seasonal menu, you’ll get to try their newest selection straight from the kitchen before anyone else!

But what would Friday knock-offs be without a couple of drinks on offer? To satisfy your thirst, they will also have pop-up bars onsite courtesy of Nelson Wine Co. and Furphy. Nelson Wine Co. is known for their enviable portfolio of family-owned and operated wineries that are among the best producers in the country, covering all the important wine regions of Australia, as well as a small selection of key producers from France, New-Zealand, Italy, and Spain. If it’s beer your thirsty for, Furphy will keep you satisfied with their locally sourced, home-grown brews. The Victorian brewery is perfect for easy drinking, spinning yarns, and spending time with friends.

To keep those spring vibes in the air, Rosie The Flower Truck will also be onsite with a stunning array of fresh blooms to brighten your spring. With live music playing from 4pm, it’s sure to be the ultimate way to enjoy the best of spring while indulging in a tipple or two with friends!

Where: Waterloo Hotel, Cnr Ann St and Commercial Rd, Newstead
