This gorgeous boutique provides handpicked, authentic antiques and vintage goods from France. Sourced from French country fairs and brocantes around Normandy.

A little piece of France has arrived in Brisbane. Recently opened in an industrial block in Albion, a large spacious warehouse has now become the home to Vieille Branche, the brainchild of husband and wife duo Jennifer and Jean-Charles Lehuby.

The duo met a few years ago in Brisbane - Jennifer being a graphic designer and Jean-Charles a photographer, both with common interests, and started to buy and restore old furniture. When they went to France to meet Jean-Charles’ family they discovered a world of antiques and old wares, so with the help of a friend residing in France, they began to import containers of diverse and uniquely French goods.

Walking into this wonderfully spacious site is like an Aladdin’s Cave of goodies, full of furniture, linen, china, paintings, glassware, stoneware, much of it old and reeking of history. As each container arrives, the whole look of the shop changes, instantly transporting the shopper to France!

Vieille Branche is available for events and photo shoots.
