You may remember late last year we announced the huge news that Brisbane would become the home to the first W Hotel in Australia. But, it seems that quicker than you can say ‘wow’ the luxury hotel had released some pretty exciting news for local foodies.
Renowned for serving up home-grown goodness in abundance at their three supreme locations across New South Wales, Three Blue Ducks are set to shake up the Sunshine State’s hospitality scene with the launch of their first Queensland venue at W Brisbane.
The W Brisbane has been confirmed to open on Friday June 1 and is said to be one of the most anticipated hotel openings in Australia this year and the news of Three Blue Ducks joining the exciting new hotel only makes the launch all the more epic.
Known for their paddock to plate ethos, Three Blue Ducks is set to bring honest, fresh flavours to their seasonal menu to produce bold and evolving cuisine unlike anything else in Brisbane.
“When approached by the W Hotel to embark on a Three Blue Ducks venture in Brisbane, it was important to us to ensure that we shared the same values and sustainable business practices,” said Jeff Bennett, Co-owner of the Three Blue Ducks.
“We share the same ethos for quality and we’ll be using locally sourced produce that is farmed ethically. Although our current venues greatly differ in aesthetic, our philosophy and ethos remain very much the same and we can’t wait to work alongside W Brisbane with views over the Brisbane River.” Says Jeff.
The restaurant will open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week and there is no doubt it will quickly become Brisbane’s newest dining destination for lovers of real food, standout coffee, local craft beers, crisp wines and original cocktails.
“Brisbane is craving a venue like this—vibrant, honest, fresh and local with stellar views. It’s going to be a hotspot for an indulgent weekend brekky and tempting lunch or dinner in the city, a place where you feel at home amongst friends and family to share delicious dishes within a lively environment,” said Haldon Philp General Manager of the W Brisbane.
“We’re both non-traditional brands with a shared vision of showcasing local, real food and drinks, which makes this partnership the perfect match for W Brisbane’s signature dining experience”.
