1. Bounce

Finally! A place for adults to jump around and be kids again! To say this giant warehouse is lined from corner to corner with trampolines is not an over statement. At Bounce you can jump from dodge ball trampoline courts over to shooting sky high hoops, flip and twist into cushy blow-up bags, get your gymnast on in the high performance area, rebound off The Wall, or just jump around freely doing what ever you please, all while listening to funky beats. Natural highs are guaranteed, and with a cafeteria offering healthy snacks you can stay all day. It’s also cheap, so jump onto the website and book in for a bounce this weekend.

2. Sky Dance

It turns out you don’t need to be Beyoncé to take a private plane on holiday. Sky Dance offers a range of adventure escapes, taking you to some of the most breathtaking and untouched corners of Australia’s Green Cauldron (Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales). Touching down via aircraft or parachute, it’s obvious these are not your usual commercial getaways; each guided trip is uniquely designed to match what you want. Enjoy a winery experience like no other with Skydive arrival, witness the beauty of the Australian landscape from an entirely new perspective on a tandem paraglide, or whisk away that special someone for a romantic escape, complete with a pilot to chauffeur you around! Check out the range of adventures on offer here. If you don’t see what you want, touch base with the Sky Dance Family to create your own custom getaway!

3. Cork & Chroma

Silence that inner naysayer and get in touch with your creative side at the Cork & Chroma paint and sip studio. The idea is simple: bring your favourite bottle of vino and enjoy a night of painting and sipping in a relaxed, judgement-free environment. Throughout the night you’re given the basics of painting with acrylics on canvas. By the end, you’ll take home a 40x50cm masterpiece to call your own. Wine and art have long been considered complementary, so why not combine the two with a group of friends, lose your inhibitions and let your inner artist flow.

4. Indoor Rock Climbing

Something I did regularly as a kid, indoor rock climbing is still one of my favourite weekend activities.  Quite simply, rock climbing is a fun way to spend the day with friends and work out at the same time! We have two awesome indoor rock climbing gyms in Brisbane, Rock Sports and Urban Climb. Take it easy on a wall or tackle a cliff-hanger and feel like a champ!

Learn to shimmy like Shakira while grooving to the exotic rhythms of Latin and Middle Eastern dance. Choose from Polynesian Hula, Brazilian Samba, Egyptian Belly dance, Indian Bollywood, Burlesque, or Zumba.
