The New Fitness Trend You'll All Be Doing In 2016

Do you get bored doing the same workouts? Do you get stuck in fitness ruts? Are you scared of commitment to exercise? Then BodyPass is for you

Ever avoided your gym because you can’t bear being approached one more time by that sleazy guy when you’re doing squats? Ever joined a boot camp with a workout pal only to find out it’s way too OTT for your liking? It’s difficult to try something new for your exercise when when you’re already struggling to afford the bills for your other fitness commitments. What if you sign up for a year but end up hating it? What if you buy a five-class pass but can't make it past the first class?

There’s something new that has fitness fanatics talking and it could even convert the sometimes-exercisers to regular fitspo folk. Forget committing to one activity, this year it's about doing all the activities at once!
Well not all at the same time.

Bodypass (already operating in Sydney and Melbourne) has brought its dynamic exercise philosophy to Brisbane. Recognising there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness, Bodypass has partnered with a network of premium fitness and lifestyle studios to provide the very best in fun fitness activities with a mix-and-match-style Brisbane membership. In short: you sign up to a network of activities, not just one gym. We can hear the fitness fanatics who are stuck in a rut cheering already.

Founders Georgia van Tiel (an exercise scientist) and Carla McMillan (a yoga teacher and health food cook) believe people should have the freedom to move around to their favourite gyms and studios without multiple contracts. Their Bodypass membership will cost $99 per month, offering unlimited access to studios across their network in Brisbane AND in Sydney and Melbourne so you can still keep fit while you travel Most importantly, there’s no long-term commitment.

“We've realised the key to health and fitness becoming apart of everyday life means fresh and exciting options. Exercise needs to be fun, accessible, interesting and diverse to appeal to everyone,” Cara says.
So far Bodypass Brisbane has locked in RAW Power Yoga, Fabulous Pilates and Yoga, BoxR, City Aquatics + Health Clubs (Centenary) and Science of Fitness.  And they’re giving free access to their network to new users for the first seven days. Get your activewear ready!

Apart from being a fun way to try new things, attending classes across a variety of disciplines can help to prevent an exercise plateau and loss of motivation. So are you ready to inject some fun into your fitness regime? How about mixing and matching boxing, yoga, aqua aerobics, Pilates, barre, boot camps and HIIT? With Bodypass, you’ll never be bored again.
