Just when you thought festival season was done and dusted, you’re going to have to start scraping at the bottom of your piggy bank because we’ve been graced with yet another epic festival line-up.

Australia’s largest regional festival, Groovin The Moo is back for another year with the cream of the crop in Australian and International acts in tow - including a few of 2016’s Hottest 100 heroes.

The winter festival is set to hit up it’s usual regional locations in April and May, milking some of Brisbane’s best bands including local legends Violent Soho, The Jungle Giants and Northeast Party House.

UK lads and Aussie festival veterans, The Wombats will be returning to Oz for Groovin and they are udder-ly stoked to be heading back down under, leading a number of overseas visitors on the bill. The Wombats front man, Matthew Murphy spoke to Triple J yesterday.

“We played Groovin The Moo in 2011 and it was incredible so we're really happy to be back… the crowd was just crazy - it was amazing,” he said.

Other big names include, Aussie talent George MapleThe Smith Street Band, Thundamentals and Perth trio Methyl Ethyl who are set to offer the Moo crowds a taste of their recently announced second album, Everything is Forgotten, which is due to be released in early March.
