We Asked A Nutritionist How We Can Get On Top Of Our Health

As a certified holistic health coach, Lee Holmes knows how difficult it can be for busy women to stay on top of their health & wellness. Talk me through your daily food and exercise regime?
Being active is something that I always try and incorporate into my day, rain, hail and shine. I start my morning nice and early with a walk. Walking helps clear my mind and improves my overall wellbeing, plus it’s the easiest and cheapest form of exercise there is. Finding the right exercise for you – whether it’s sweating it out at the gym, finding your inner zen in the yoga studio, swimming at the beach or strolling in the park can be fun and inspiring! Find what works for you and stick to it – you’ll feel all the better for it.

For breakfast, I like The Good Sort® Plant based Naked! flavour blended with an assortment of berries. That’s my go-to most mornings when I have a bunch of things to do. Mid-morning, I’ll probably have a chai tea. For lunch, I like to try different things but lately, in winter I’ve been making lots of slow-roasted veggies and turning them into soups with garlic and prebiotic vegetables to boost my immunity. In the afternoon, I like to have a half serve of The Good Sort® (Coffee! or Vanilla! flavour). It always gives me a little pep up! I like to end the day with something warm and nourishing like a soup or a stew.

As a holistic food and nutrition coach, what made you so keen to get on board as a spokesperson?
I see a lot of people every day who are stuck in a diet rut.
