From creamy beauty products and to bold animal prints, here’s a roundup of what some of the Style office loved during the month of March!

Animal Print
This month I’ve really loved jumping on the bandwagon and experimenting with animal print in my fashion. Seeing it become such a popular, trans-seasonal print has been exciting to see, especially since I’ve never dived into this classic trend much before. Although I’m obsessing over the millions of gorgeous leopard print slip skirts and wrap dresses that are popping up, accessories is really what I’m infatuated with at the moment. I’ve recently purchased a few snakeskin pieces such as an earthy brown cross body bag from Zara, which I love adding into my outfits. It’s a great piece that can be used from day-to-night and I love how the print adds some 90s nostalgia and excitement into simple outfits.
I’m enjoying featuring animal print subtly in my hair accessories as well. Tortoise shell hair clips, leopard scrunchie and a grey tone snakeskin headband are all new additions to my collection that are getting some good miles. As this trend only seems to expand, I don’t see my interest dying off anytime soon. My Afterpay account has got its sights set on some snakeskin boots and hopefully some Liz Taylor like outerwear for Winter.

Nudestix Nudies Blush - Matte in Sunset Strip
In the mornings, I like my makeup routine to be as quick and simple as possible because: A) I am a beauty lover and do actually enjoy applying some type of makeup in the AM and B) I want to get in as much sleep as I can. The brand Nudestix has totally streamlined my morning routine because all the products come in a creamy stick formula for the speediest application. In particular, I’ve been obsessing over the Nudies Blush product in the shade Sunset Strip – a bright coral that makes you look like you’ve been on a relaxing tropical holiday. Considering I spend my days in an office, this is the next best thing to looking like I’ve got the holiday afterglow!

Maaemo Organic Vitalize face elixir
I’m constantly trying new skincare products and this serum is definitely one I’ll re-purchase. It’s quite a thick texture and goes on so velvety; my skin feels so hydrated and dewy. I love it! I naturally have quite a combination/oily skin type, however I love that glowing look both when I’m wearing makeup and when I’m going au naturale. One of the most important factors when buying skincare is that it’s vegan, cruelty-free and Australian made and this product ticks all the boxes. I’m also currently using the Purifying gel cleanser and Hydrating facial moisturiser and they are divine! All of their products are certified organic, the way Mother Earth intended and have been carefully developed by a Naturopath and Herbalist.

OWAY Australia Sea Salt Spray
OWAY products are all about organic ingredients. I first fell in love with their products while having my hair washed, the smell of lemon myrtle permeating the salon. My hairdresser told me about the way these products are sustainably created on their farm, Ortofficina in Bologna, Italy, using fair trade biodynamic methods and ingredients while supporting green chemistry. I am all for natural ingredients rich in active elements over chemical heavy options which is why I am currently addicted!
The sea salt spray, in particular, provides light but messy volume which is a morning saviour for my dead-straight hair. This beach effect texturing spray is filled with the active ingredients of biodynamic marrubium, organic black quinoa, amla and marula, providing a medium hold and matte effect. It’s my favourite alternative to thick, sticky hair spray with harsh chemicals and a strong hold. But the real hero is the PH balance. Unlike most products that hide their balance, OWAY products are built on optimum ranges. Basically, I walk into work every day straight out of the salty oceans and sandy shores. If that’s not a confidence boost, I don’t know what is!
