How would you describe your sound? Where you get your influences from?
Jesse: It’s a mix of country, pop and rock. Influences range from Alanis Morisette to Taylor Swift to The Dixie Chicks.
Your debut album you recorded in Nashville is set for release - tell us about it?
Nina: The album consists of songs we have be writing for years, and co-wrote songs from different writers when we were in Nashville. We were overwhelmed with how talented the Nashville Musicians were and how they made our vision come to life.
What has been the most difficult part about working in the music industry?
Andrea: Adapting to how the music industry works. It's not like going to University and getting a job. It’s a lot of hard work…there is no set plan on ‘how to make it!
What can people expect from the new album?
A little bit of everything – if you want to dance, cry or rock-out, it’s all on the album.
Where do you see yourselves and the group in 12 months?
Nina: We'd love to be touring the country an overseas, seeing fans sing our lyrics back to us... that really is the best feeling.
Do you have any guilty pleasures to get you through touring?
Jesse: Bringing our own pillows everywhere we go – we get cranky if we don’t sleep. Also energy drinks and coffee.
What's the best and worst part about working with your sisters?
Nina: Best part is that we always have each others backs! Worst is that we definitely know how to push each other’s buttons.
What's the best advice you've received?
Dozzi: 'There's no such thing as luck, it's being prepared for the opportunity!'
