Jazz, Piano And Martini’s, This New Brisbane Bar Has It All

Get into the swing of things.

Step into the 1930s with the Emporium Hotel’s newest addition to their luxury dining experience. The Piano Bar’s much-anticipated bar opening in South Bank did not disappoint, with their doors now open to the public. Dripping with elegance and class, you’ll love the refined feel of the room as you spend an evening with your partner, bathing in the soft golden glow of the chandelier above. The sleek interior boasting black and gold features creates an understated elegance. With hand-chosen décor like their animal print chairs, you’re welcomed into a visually distinctive fine dining environment, perfect for evenings out on the town. Get ready to sip on martini’s while listening to the soft, crooning jazz playing in the background.

Choose from a carefully curated drinks menu, with aged spirits, cocktails, and your choice of wines from both local and international vineyards. And if you’re feeling peckish, The Piano Bar also offers a delectable dining menu. Peruse the lunch and dinner options available, created for you by Executive Chef Chris Norman and Sous Chef – Pastry, Alexandra Liddle. There’s an appetising selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and fresh seafood including Clyde River Rock Oysters and Queensland King Prawns, and cheeses. We love the soft Camembert platter, paired with a sourdough baguette.

The Piano Bar offers live entertainment every day from 4.00pm Monday to Friday, and from 3.00pm on weekends. With a pianist on-hand to play soft, classical music as you wine and dine, you’ll be transported back to the swinging 30s in no time. But don’t be fooled, the party will be in full-swing on Friday’s and Saturday’s with live jazz bands trumpeting away from 7.30pm into the night.
