The Perfect Brisbane Hangout Spot For Parents And Children Is Here!

Adults are just outdated children – Dr Suess

By Sophie Venz | 26th July 2019

We all love a Friday fiesta or a Sunday siesta, but there’s one Spanish word you may not know, that works all through the week: Jugar. Jugar means ‘to play’, and is the fitting name for the new space at West End, which promises to be fun for the whole family!

Jugar’s aim is to create an inspiring environment for both children and their families to have fun in. The space has a café and a bar, as well as a supervised play area for the kids to run-a-muck within while the parents unwind. In Brisbane, there are limited areas where parents and children can enjoy themselves and play all together; Jugar wants to change this concept in a space that’s guaranteed to be enjoyable for all ages!

With the Instagram page boasting pastel aesthetics alongside playful designs, we’re sure the space will be adored from the very first day. Alongside the centres dining and play experiences, there is also rumoured to be community space for different exercise classes, and a room for private functions and kids birthday parties!

While there isn’t extensive information out there about the space, we have heard that Jugar is the place to go, if you're wanting to experience great food, drinks, and play together in a safe and modern space. Go and give it a go with your little ones!

THE CELEBRATION ISSUE

Article by Sophie Venz

Soph is a Gold Coast girl born-and-bred, who thinks there’s always a reason to celebrate… or is just always looking for an excuse to drink champagne. If she’s not lost in a daydream or the latest bestseller crime novel, Soph is planning her next overseas adventure. She believes tea is the cure to everything and that cheese is a suitable meal replacement, and will never go a day without consuming a copious amount of them both.
