If you aren’t aware of the celeb feud currently taking the internet by storm, you must’ve been living under a rock. I’m talking about the Taylor Swift v Kimye social media battle, during which fans have flocked to Instagram and filled comments with hordes of snake and rat emojis. It’s getting SAVAGE.
It’s also getting boring. There are are so many alternative emoji apps that are flying under the radar right now. I’m not going to spam any celeb accounts – I ain’t about that life – but sometimes you just want to up your emoji game and stay ahead of the pack.
I’ve searched high and low spent some time scrolling through the App Store and I now have the pleasure of introducing the apps that will transform your emoji game FOR GOOD.
Where do I even start? Kimojis have so much sass that it’s almost a crime not to download them. Kim Kardashian is really cashing in on all things digital media lately; she has her own game and has brought out her version of emojis and, frankly, they’re pretty damn great. We’re talking about animated versions of her crying face, her perfume line and famous derriere (of course). I’m not gonna lie, I just downloaded this mid-sentence. I’LL NEVER GO BACK!
Harper’s Bazaar Emojis
This is one for the fashionistas! If you’re looking for the right emoji to describe your new fab lipstick or the heels you’ve just added to your shoe-drobe, this is the perfect app for you! Need to let your friend know that you’re on low battery? Send them a Harper’s Bazaar Emoji. Want to stress how hard your spin class was this morning? You know what to do.
SMS Rage Faces
If you cry from laughing at memes and ridiculous internet stickers, then you need to jump on the App Store immediately! SMS Rage Faces has more than 3200 unique faces and more than 380 camera booth stickers to brighten up your texts, so you’re going to have hours of fun up your sleeve. There are already 5 million users around the world, so you could say it’s a pretty popular alternative to general emojis.
Do you sometimes find the Snapchat stickers just do nothing for ya? Me too. You can use Bitmoji in Snapchat to say more and you can make it your own personal emoji! Just by linking your Bitmoji account with Snapchat, your avatar will automatically appear, meaning you can use it in any chat or Snap you send. You can dress your avatar to make it identical to you – kinda creepy, kinda cool.
While they’re not emojis, gifs are way too funny not to mention. I LOVE adding gifs to my stories and sending them to my friends on Facebook. So much so that GIF Keyboard sounds like a total dream. With this app, you can send gifs right from your keyboard and there are MILLIONS to choose from – search from TV, movies, YoutTbe and heaps more. You can save the ones that you love and it works with all messenger networks. Gifs say the things that emojis just can’t.
