Woo-hoo long weekend, here we come!
I’ve already sort of signed off for this week and I hope you have too. Step away from the keyboard!
Here are my 4 musings for your Friday knock off.
What you may know and what you may not know…
1. Kerrie Hess x Ballettonet
Ballettonet will be launching a capsule collection this month with Brisbane based fashion illustrator Kerrie Hess. She has helped created a stunning range of eight designs of ballet flats, with input on almost all aspects, including the shade and texture of ribbons to the rose gold detailing and selection of nappa and suede leathers.
2. Racing Royalty in Brisbane
This long weekend, a little birdy told me Kate Waterhouse will be staying in a presidential suite of a prominent inner-city hotel.
3. Fish meets beer.
When I say this, I mean a new beer café is moving into Fish Lane! Saccharomyces Beer Café (don’t ask me how to pronounce that) is set to open mid-July and while it’s not a brewery, it will stock a decent chunk of Brisbane brewers. Keep your eyes peeled!
4. Junior Style
Natalie Bassingthwaighte recently launched her rage of children’s clothing and accessories, Chi Khi and has now created rompers and beanies for the winter months. I hear if you get in quick, you’ll even snap up some freebies (If you’re one of the first 100 buyers of the new range).
“Oh she’s getting her boob job in June? That’s funny, because it’s the month of Gemini… as in the twins, get it?”
Feel free to send me any gossip you may have – I’ll kindly read it all!
