Faded Empire Pop Up Shop

Kerrie Callaghan has opened her first pop-up shop in Paddington.

By Mary Dickinson | 14th January 2014

Inspired by her avid love for travel to exotic destinations, Kerrie Callaghan has opened her first pop-up shop in Paddington, selling eclectic wares sourced from years of travel throughout countries such as Egypt, France, India, China and Japan to name a few. Apparently Kerrie won’t buy anything that she’s not passionate about or use herself, and it really shows. From the minute you walk in the door it’s hard not to ooh and ah and want just about everything! Colourful ethnic bedspreads and throws, rugs, leather bags, candles, apothecary bottles, crowns, ornate opaque glass balls, glove moulds, scrolls, and icons are just some of the wares that make this store truly global.   One room with clothes and accessories sourced from the USA and Australia will operate until the end of January, and another room with furniture and homewares will be open through to the end of February. There are things here that are quite unusual and a must see for the discerning shopper.
