The Brisbane Illustration To Pop Up In Your Window During COVID-19

Put your feet (and your posters) up Brissie.

If there’s anyone that can bring the calm through art during self-isolation, it’s Cronulla Folk. This cool AF boutique illustration company is based on the New South Wales south coast, and with their quintessentially Aussie laidback vibe, we were drawn to their work like a fruit fly to a ripe mango in summer.

Scrolling through socials as you do 523 times a day during self-isolation, Style Editor, Tracy, noticed Cronulla Folk had created a ‘Keep Calm Cronulla’ poster that you can download and print to keep as your own custom illustration. Having collaborated with these talented peeps before, Tracy quickly commented that ‘we’d love one for Brissy, too!’ – and they made us our own.

The idea behind the free downloadable poster is pretty simple, really. It’s for Brissie locals to print it out and stick in the window, pop on the fridge, frame it – whatever you wanna do with it, because the message remains the same. And that is for our community to remain calm and to look out for one-another. Now that’s an idea we can get around.

Having each other’s back during these next couple of months in self-isolation is more important than ever and us creatives sure do know how to spread the messages, and the love!

Check out the Cronulla Folk website for more laidback illustrations and chuck them a follow on Instagram and Facebook @cronullafolk.
