Here’s Our 2019 A To Z Guide Of Brisbane’s Retailers And Services

It’s as easy as A, B, C…

By Laura Frendon | 8th January 2019

Our annual A to Z Style Guide is back again for another year, featuring the very best businesses in Brisbane. From top of the line plastic surgery clinics and hairdressers, to fine dining restaurants and world class fitness centres, we’ve covered all the bases to have you in the know with who’s who in 2019.

A – Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

Making a positive difference in patients’ lives.

Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery places genuine care and the safety of patients as the highest priority throughout all treatment processes. Any surgical or invasive procedure can come with some risks, and what many people forget is that plastic surgery is medicine, not magic, so it’s important for patients to receive honest and professional advice about what can realistically be achieved with safety as the number one priority.

In addition to patient factors, operating safely involves collaborating with a team of experts, including experienced specialist anaesthetists, licensed operating facilities, experienced registered nurses, treatment coordinators, and specialist theatre staff to ensure each and every patient is treated as a unique individual and with the utmost professional care.

Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery’s head plastic surgeon, Dr Eddie Cheng, collaborates with his team to offer comprehensive surgical treatments for the breast, body, and face. For those who are not considering surgery, there are also non surgical options available, such as injectables and dermal therapies to refresh and rejuvenate a tired appearance.

You can have complete confidence in the training and qualifications of head plastic surgeon Dr Eddie Cheng and his team. They can help you reach the look you want to achieve, while always maintaining honesty and professionalism.

The team can listen to, and gently guide you throughout your treatment, ensuring you’re comfortable and completely happy with every decision you make. Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic surgery see it as an absolute privilege to be a part of your journey, and are hoping to make a positive difference in more patients’ lives in 2019.

W – World Class Dentist

A highly successful prosthodontic specialist aiming to provide you with the best dental care possible.

Internationally recognised inventor, innovator and academic clinician Professor Neil Meredith has over 25 years experience in treating patients with dental implants, and has been a major part of the evolution of modern implant dentistry. The highly successful and sought after solution for replacing missing teeth is popular Australia wide, and takes the stress and worry out of losing a tooth.

As a prosthodontic specialist holding two PhDs, Professor Meredith invented the internationally recognised technology to measure dental implant success, which is most commonly known as Osstell. In addition, he has designed a complete dental implant system, managing the company from start-up to a now international business sold in over ten different countries.

Professor Meredith’s passion lies in treating patients to the best of his ability and teaching important skills to those who need it. He has some concerns that the high level of success the treatments have had could be marred by a lack of experience, inferior components, and untreated peri-implant disease.

To ensure this treatment maintains credibility and is performed with the highest of skills, Professor Meredith will be opening his own dental implant and complications clinic here in Brisbane in 2019.

Offering refreshing and cool vibes, what you see is what you get from this laidback studio, with body confidence and real emotions at the heart of everything they do. The team at SoBa want to create a space for connection, and attract people who are inspiring, thoughtful, connected, and amazing to be around.

Bringing movement back to basics, their ultimate goal is to have you feeling good about yourself, and wanting to return again and again to maintain a good vibe and outlook on life. With classes ranging from hiit training, barre movement, vinyasa, meditation, pilates and so much more, they’re a great way to redirect your fitness journey in 2019.

In the new year, SoBa will be expanding their class range at both the New Farm and West End studios, as well as offering outdoor classes.
