Wedding Ceremony Spaces

St Leger Fig Tree

Brisbane Racing Club is home to 100-year-old fig trees and stunning outdoor spaces. St Leger Fig Tree celebrates this and allows you to spend your perfect day surrounded by the stunning garden views. Can’t you just imagine how incredible it would be saying your vows underneath the glorious fig tree? If only we could hear its stories!

Parade Ring

If you are someone who is after a truly unique touch to your wedding images, opt for holding your ceremony at the Parade Ring. This is another beautiful outdoor space on offer and features a gorgeous water fountain, which is arguably one of the most romantic places to say ‘I Do’. Imagine the glistening water as a backdrop for your perfect day!


Stradbroke Plaza

If you’re planning an intimate gathering and still want a touch of greenery in your photos, then look to none other than the quaint Stradbroke Plaza space. Surrounded by large fig trees and a meticulously manicured garden, this area showcases a polished and colourful wedding backdrop that will allow you to take in the beautiful surroundings on the big day.


Wedding Reception Spaces

The Society Rooftop

This little reception space has been a best-kept secret, until now! Originally built in 1889, this indoor and outdoor rooftop area is perfect for relaxed cocktail style wedding receptions or small sit-down weddings. With its festoon lighting, polished wooden floors, and views of the fig trees and track, you’re sure to capture some stellar photos at The Society Rooftop!


The Tote Room

Located close to the St Leger Fig Tree and Stradbroke Plaza reception spaces, The Tote Room is Brisbane Racing Club’s largest event space. The Tote Room was built in 1913, is heritage-listed and features plenty of quaint details like natural worn brick walls, polished timber floors and its original tote windows that were used by punters to place their bets back in the day – talk about character! This space can hold 300 people for a cocktail style reception or up to 160 people for a sit-down affair.


The Ascot Bar

Are you after something a little more intimate and luxe? The Ascot Bar, which is full of old world charm, is your answer. With champagne and gold accents, dark furniture and gorgeous panoramic views of the racetrack, this truly is a polished space that will add a unique touch to your wedding photos. This inviting space can hold 260 people for a cocktail style wedding or 120 people for a sit-down reception.


Elegant wedding photo opportunities at Brisbane Racing Club don’t just end at their myriad of function spaces. As well as your ceremony and reception spaces, you will have the opportunity to take photos around other historical areas of the Club. Capture some truly unique memories near the Victorian buildings, ornate iron gates and timber and iron grandstands. There’s even the opportunity to have photos with one of Brisbane Racing Club’s horses in their rustic stables. With all of these historic and picturesque features, Brisbane Racing Club is the perfect place to tell the story of your special day!
