March is set to be a big one in Brisbane, with heaps of awesome events and pop ups making their way to our glorious city. From music and foodie festivals to award winning musicals, we’ve picked out some of our favourite Brisbane events you need to attend this month.

Beer InCider | 9 March

Returning to Brisbane once again, this beer and music festival in one is taking over the Brisbane Showgrounds. Proudly supporting independently owned breweries and Australia’s best musicians and street artists, Beer InCider brings together our biggest loves in life – delicious food, great music, and icy cold beverages.


Puppy Yoga | 10 March

Reach peak relaxation levels while cuddling a bunch of incredibly cute puppies, at the “Paws and Stretch” pop up puppy yoga morning. You’ll be guided through a 45 minute beginner yoga session, a 15 minute sound healing meditation, and to finish, spend 15 minutes getting puppy photos while sipping on chai tea.


Curiocity | 15 March – 3 April

A multi-sensory experience is coming to Brisbane, making its way through the CBD, South Bank, and New Farm. The immersive and interactive installation will combine science, technology, and art, in order to create a space for imagination and play for all ages, as well as an art gallery, augmented reality spaces, and music pop-ups.

The Book Of Mormon | 16 March – 12 April

One of the biggest musicals to hit Australian stages is making its way to QPAC. Labelled as the “musical of the century,” The Book Of Mormon follows a pair of missionaries on a religious journey, and sends a message of positivity and love. Written by the guys behind South Park, you’re guaranteed a lot of laughs!


TAB Blokes Day Out | 23 March

Round up the lads and head to Eagle Farm Racecourse for a day of epic entertainment, both on and off the track. Cheer on a winner throughout the local black type racing programme, or watch the $3.5 million Longines Golden Slipper live from Sydney. There’ll also be plenty of live music, food trucks, and a selection of craft beer available in the air-conditioned trackside bars.
