The CBD Just Scored An Epic Outdoor Cinema Showing All Your Fave Rom Coms

A good ol’ fashioned rom com along with cheap eats? Sign us up!

With winter fast approaching, our evenings have never been prettier! This just makes it all the more appealing to get out there and take advantage of all that the city has to offer. When it comes to finding a unique mid-week date night idea, there’s really no comparison to an outdoor cinema.

Every Wednesday evening from 9th May til 23rd May, Post Office Square will transform into the sunset cinema of our dreams, complete with delicious eats and refreshing beverages. Popping up adjacent from CBD-newbie (and our current fave), Isles Lane, you can settle in for a post-work flick, and enjoy a bite to eat while you’re at it.

As far as cheap date nights go, this will take the cake! Featuring an impressive line-up of free romcoms, including Crazy, Stupid Love and Home Again, Rom Coms & Nom Noms is the 2018 answer to the ‘dinner and a movie’ date night we’re used to.

As for the food ('cos it’s always about the food!), for just $15 you can purchase a mini grazing-box-for-two, which includes the most delicious of movies snacks, such as cheese and crackers, cold meats, and sweet treats. Arrive early and treat yourself to a tipple or two from the bar while you wait for the movie to start.

Rom Coms & Nom Noms will be taking place every Wednesday evening during May, between 5-9pm in Post Office Square.

When: Wednesday, May 2, 9, 16, 23
Time: From 5pm. Movie starts at 6:30pm
Where: Post Office Square
