If you haven’t had your mind blown by Beyoncé’s new single, then you need to get on that. Formation is the pro-black power anthem that the world needs right now, and now’s the time to put your hands up for a chance to dance like Queen Bey.
The team at Woolly Mammoth Mane Stage don’t know much about fighting, but they know that people will fight for a spot in one of these dance classes, which is why there are a massive SIX 45-minute sessions on offer – three a night on Wednesday, March 23 and Thursday, March 24.
It’s strictly 18+, but there’s no dance training required because who needs a degree when you’re schoolin’ life? This is a beginners’ dance class and a shame-free zone for all bodies, shapes, sizes and genders.
Fresh from the successful tour of her Sorry-inspired Justin Bieber dance class, dance goddess Amrita Hepi will be back in Brisbane to show you that a diva is the female version of a hustler.
Since your friends are probably all drunk in love with Beyoncé (who isn’t?) you won’t have any issue convincing them to join. And if you do, just play the broken-hearted girl and remind them to put your love on top. Don’t you ever for a second get to thinking they’re irreplaceable.
OK, OK, ladies, now let’s get in formation. Prove to me you got some coordination because I sure as heck don’t. But I’ll be there for you if somebody hurts you with wild dance moves, even if that somebody is me, myself and I.
Don’t waste a minute before you book; tickets are only $19 and if you take 45 minutes to get all dressed up you ain’t even gonna make it to this class.
In the meantime, settle in to watch the flawless Queen Bey slay again and again.
Note: We apologise for all the Beyonce quotes in this story. Oh wait, no we don't #sorrynotsorry #queenbeyforever
