Occupation/job title:

Professional Cricket Player

How would your mum describe you in three words?

Loyal, determined, fun loving.

What’s the first thing you notice in a woman?

Her smile and her eyes!

 Your ultimate celeb crush?

Tough one but my current would be either Sally Fitzgibbons or Margot Robbie and old favourites Rachel McAdams and Mila Kunis.

 Any hidden talents?

Nothing that stands out, but away from cricket I am very keen on my Yoga.

Can you cook? If so, what’s your signature dish?

I can cook but I would say I would prefer eating other peoples cooking. My signature dish however would be a Mexican lasagne!

 Your worst habit?

My dermatologist older sister would say spending too much time in the sun with my shirt off and my mum would say too indecisive but I view that as going with the flow (laughs)!

 What’s the worst/best pick-up line you’ve ever used?

I don’t like them because I would rather just be myself from the outset. However I asked to borrow her phone because I pretend I have lost mine, then I dialled my number and when my phone started ringing in my pocket, I pulled it out and saved the number. And then looked up and said ‘thanks for your number; it was nice to meet you’. Not sure if it goes down in the best or worst category!

Has your sporting profile helped you in the dating game?

No, I still am single! Unfortunately it’s probably the contrary; most girls don’t even understand cricket and the ones that do usually can’t bear to watch it.

 What’s your most treasured possession?

I am not very materialistic, so my dog Angel who is a cross between kelpie and golden retriever!

What’s the most important quality a partner needs to have?

Someone who is outgoing and enjoys having fun, and has a sense of humour!

 Any horror dating stories?

Haven’t been on enough but I do have one. I was tagged in some pictures from a wedding shoot where I was the groom, and on my next date the girl went silent and said “I can’t keep doing this. I feel so bad... you’re married and I don’t want to be a home wrecker!” The night didn’t really go the way I had planned.

What’s the worst thing a girl could do on a first date?

Smoking or being on her phone.

 Do you have a ‘type’?

I am a bit of a sucker for tanned skin brunettes, but I think I am pretty open to anyone who I enjoy spending time with.

 What’s on your bucket list?

What isn’t should probably be the question. Too many things to list!

 What’s been your greatest achievement?

Winning the U/19 World cup for Australia! Making my debut for the Brisbane Heat in the inaugural game of the Big Bash League.

What do you like to do on your day off?

Spending some time at the beach and catching up with my mates.

The best advice you’ve ever been given?

My Dad has reminded me to ‘always back myself’ something very simple but has stuck with me.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I would love to be playing for Australia, have secured my first property and hopefully had my first girlfriend (laughs).

 The last book you read?

Other than the last edition of Style Magazines, it was Scar Tissue, the autobiography of Anthony Kiedis!

Short and sweet…

Your fave:

Suburb?

Point Lookout, Stradbroke Island

Spot for a knock-off drink?

The Brunswick Social

Place for a first date?

Don’t want to reveal all my secrets

Breakfast spot?

Sourced Grocer or Little Larder

Place for a Saturday night boogie?

Unfortunately not a great dancer but probably Fridays or somewhere in the Valley like Laruche.
