Sister Café is the latest baby from power couple Daniel and Hannah Bowles, who have spent the last few years nestling into New Farm with their first space, Little Loco. The success of this first project soon made way Miss Jones, known for its signature style and scrumptious eats. Ready for a new challenge and change of suburb scenery, the duo decided to expand their horizons and head to Hawthorne for their newest venture to rival their own. Introducing: Sister Café.

Reflecting the same pastel interiors of Miss Jones, Sister Café features a peachy aesthetic and airy, casual dining ambiance making it fit into the Bowles family perfectly. When it comes to foodie treats, the plates on offer have a very similar visual style to Miss Jones’ menu, however, the dishes are a refreshing array of new, all-day breakfast and lunch specials. We’re talking pork belly benedict with house made hash, breakfast gnocchi to a tower of gingerbread waffles and more. Are we making you hungry?

What’s more is Sister opens bright and early from 7am on the weekends, making it the perfect pit-stop for an ideal Saturday. Why not tag along with the siblings and make it your go-to haunt? It would be rude not to with such a name.

Until you make your way to this Hawthorne newbie, check-out their drool-worthy Insta for a little breakky inspiration.
