Yasou! Opa’s Sister Restaurant Is Now Open To Serve Modern Greek Fare

A toast to good health!

West End is no stranger to global fare, and its newest resident is set to throw in the tastes of the Aegean to the cultural hotpot.

From the duo behind Opa Bar + Mezze and Fatcow Steak & Lobster comes Yamas Greek + Drink – an ode to modern Greek flavours alongside an extensive wine and cocktail list. Serving as the sister restaurant to Opa, Yamas takes cues from the portside town of Thessaloniki to focus on a love of good food across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Authentic Greek dishes will be put on show, including Ioannina eggs with manouri cheese, red sauce and pita bread, lamb kleftiko (slow-cooked lamb leg), chargrilled lobster served with capers and ladolemono sauce, and wagyu beef moussaka.

As the spiritual home of Brisbane’s Greek community, the open and airy venue sits in West Village, overlooking Mollison Park to make it the ideal spot for celebrating with family and friends. Yamas literally means ‘a toast to good health’ after all!

Yamas Greek + Drink is now open at West Village.
