When we’re not sitting at the counter at one of our favourite Brisbane bars, you’ll find us mixing up something special at home. Whether we’re entertaining friends or serving up a nightcap, whisky is one of the must-have liquors that’s always in stock on our bar cart. As the king of classic cocktails, whisky is the key ingredient in classic cocktails such as a Don Draper-style Old Fashioned, a Manhattan à la Marilyn Monroe, or a tangy and sweet mint Julep.

Launching in Australia this month, Grant’s Triple Wood is a new way to enjoy Grant’s liquid through its unique whisky-making process and maturing in three distinct casks – Virgin Oak, American Oak and Refill Bourbon, for a smooth, rich and mellow taste.

To celebrate their latest offering, Grant’s Triple Wood whisky, they’ve shared four whisky cocktail recipes with us that will impress your guests, introduce you to just how special a blended scotch can be, and (possibly) have you rolling on the floor.
