We've Found Brisbane's Best Hot Chip Trends

Whether they’re complementing your crumbed fish or covered in chicken salt and being eaten by the handful, they’re a foodie favourite. Who could say no to Brisbane’s best hot chips?

When we discovered that Brisbane restaurants were reinventing the humble hot chip, we had to get in on the action. From halloumi to doughnut chips, here’s where to get your fix.

Halloumi chips

Just when you thought halloumi couldn’t get any tastier, it started popping up on menus in chip form. This is not a drill! Step into Corbett & Claude to try the crispiest halloumi chips in the biz.

ChipTease is a Brisbane food truck that specialises in crafting delicious chips. They serve beer-battered originals and sweet potato chips with a tasty range of three loaded toppings to choose from. The Mexican Nacho Fiesta topping is made up of salsa, cheese, sour cream and jalapenos. If you love gravy, you can’t go past the other two toppins: Canadian Cheese and Gravy, and Pulled Pork and Gravy.
