Sick of the same old breakfast spot and want to try something new? Or maybe you want to branch out for brunch? Dinner dilemmas and hunger pangs will be a thing of the past with our list of the best eats in Paddington.

Anouk Café

Whether it’s a fresh-baked muffin on the run or something more substantial, whet your appetite at Anouk Café. With loads to choose from on both the breakfast and lunch menus, deciding what to have will be your biggest conundrum.

Atticus Finch Café

Start your day off right with a big bowl of mixed grain porridge, or fill up on delicious sandwiches or salads for lunch. Just want a nibble? Try the breads and dips! They’re sure to keep your hanger at bay.

Chapter IV

Seeing the words “all day breakfast” on a menu makes my heart skip a beat. Chapter IV indulges the breakfast sweet-tooths among us with banoffee French crêpes. Lunches are hearty affairs so brace yourself for a food coma.

Chocolate Orange on Latrobe

Gourmet salads and sandwiches, plenty of lunchtime goodies and robust breakfasts can be found at Chocolate Orange Espresso. All the eggs and meats are free-range so you can get your nosh on without the guilt.

Khot Thai

Describing themselves as rustic rather than royal, the true Thai flavour of Khot Thai’s dishes is not to be underestimated. With plenty of curries, grills and soups to choose from, it makes sense to get the gang together and order a few different dishes to share so you can give everything a go.

Darling & Co

If $16 weekday lunch specials don’t win you over then maybe the butternut pumpkin gnocchi or Sovereign Hills lamb shoulder will. Darling & Co also offers two- and three-course set menus. And those $16 specials? Well, they include your choice of a cheeseburger and fries, pasta or a salad with an accompanying glass of wine or selected beer.

Open Monday-Thursday with luxury interiors and an epic four- or seven-course degustation menu, Montrachet is perfect for date night and a fun frolic through French cuisine.

Kettle & Tin

Forget the tea-time tantrums about where to eat; Sriracha hot wings, open chicken tacos and smoked pork sliders make for perfect sharing dishes. Wagyu beef burgers or roasted cauliflower and zucchini salad should fill you up at lunchtime. Feeling thirsty? Try one of the cold-pressed juices or smoothies.

Le Bon Choix

French pastries are the best pastries, so if you’re in the market for a Parisian-style coffee and pastry breakfast or something sweet for the 3pm sugar slump, Le Bon Choix’s selection of croissants, Danishes, macaroons, muffins and cakes will prove irresistible.

Acai Brothers

For a healthy antioxidant-packed snack, check out Acai Brothers. Their decadent acai bowls have all the taste without the guilt. While you’re there, stock up on raw juices or nab a quick caffeine fix.

Fundies Wholefood Market

Wanting something a little more organic? Fundies Wholefood Market specialises in wholesome organic breakfasts and lunches. Don’t forget to stock up on all your favourite healthy treats and chat to one of the friendly naturopaths while you’re there!
