Carnivores get ready for a meaty good time, Brisbane’s first low and slow BBQ is coming!

I hope you have your bibs ready to catch that drool -  there's a BBQ paradise hitting Wandering Cooks, South Bank on July 19.

Like its name suggests, succulent meats are cooked low and slow to tantalise tastebuds at Brisbane's Low and Slow BBQ Festival.

Kicking off at midday a variety of different food trucks will be offering a wide array of BBQ food, with crisp frothy beverages available to wash everything down.

Using American techniques, beef, chicken, pork ribs and lamb are coated in spice, mixed with smoke, passion and love to create meat so tender and damn-tasty, it falls straight off the bone, is your mouth watering yet?

You will also be able to take some techniques home to your own kitchen with stalls offering ‘must have’ BBQ essentials, and there are workshops and classes available to show you how to pickle, preserve and smoke your meats.
