The word ‘Tuckshop’ takes nostalgic memories to the next level. It would usually start in the morning before school when you were trying to string together a couple of coins, or better yet, mum was able to sneak you a fiver! THE BEST DAY EVER had just commenced and nothing could break you. Okay, enough reminiscing on the good old days, there is no need to because…drum roll, please… ‘Tuckshop Time’ at Woolloongabba has well and truly reignited the flame.

Owners Caity Jones and Greg Mclean originally opened sibling venue and well-known Sunshine Coast cafe, Decisions Café. With their huge success, it was time to migrate to Brissy to show us all what they’ve got. It may well be the trendiest tuckshop we have seen and is a far cry from the classic silver roller door at high school that probably had some graffiti and splattered yoghurt on it – but hey we aren’t complaining! With their pink and blue pastel colours and light up signs, accompanied by their stylish furniture and grass patch, we are more than content!

It’s the kind of place that you can lounge out, sip on your coffee and truly detach from the world. Now, I know you just want to hear about the food, so lets get into it. So what’s on offer – well let me tell you! Classic choccie milks, waffle bowls, cheesecakes, coffees, acai bowls, super food lattes, chocolate chip cookies with chocolate ganache filling, wraps, milkshakes, pizza scrolls, muffins and WAY more. Ohhh and how could we forget, Tuckshop Time is doggo friendly! So our four legged friends are totally encouraged to come along and enjoy a treat or two!
