The Terrace By E’cco Is Open For Business And We Are Shucked

Did someone say $1 oysters?!

Air-conditioning is overrated, but only when put in comparison with an al fresco, roofless terrace. Yes, our beloved E’cco has extended the bistro! After their big move from Boundary Street to Gasworks in Newstead, we thought the changes would stop there! But no, the Terrace by E’cco has officially been released and it’s open for business.

Seating 70, this quaint spot is calling to us to sip cocktails and shuck oysters on. Talk about blissful summer evenings. With Southeast Asian inspired flavours, brought together with a twist of innovation, E’cco knows how to impress. Celebrating casual dining and drinks on the Terrace, it’s all about the chilled vibes and good company. Their grazing menu is designed to share, making a dining experience that is hard to compete with.

Open from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday’s, post-work drinks over that gym sesh has never seemed more appealing. But happy hour is the best hour. Think $1 Oysters paired with cold gin and sake cocktails, cheaper than your Uber over. If you’ve never been to Asia, you’ll want to book a holiday after this. Indulge in a range of bold, flavoursome Asian meat and vegetable dishes with a side of raw, or a share plate for the keener dining patrons. With an extensive beverage list from lychee cocktails and Asahi on tap to a wine selection that will make you blush, the owners Philip Johnson and Mary Randles know what they’re doing.
