The Charming Squire opened in South Bank on August 28 and it’s a beauty! Destined to become a Brisbane favourite, James Squire’s first Brisbane brew house offers food and drink to rival every other venue in the city.
The restaurant is open 11am – late, 7 days a week and the menu is jam-packed with so many appetising dishes from steak to seafood, to burgers and share plates, you may find you have trouble choosing what to tuck into! The kitchen is viewable from the restaurant and street and contains a coal spit roast and wood fire spit roast that showcases plenty of local produce.
A deli is also located at one end of the venue, serving up breakfast, coffee and lunch options to local workers and commuters daily. So no matter what time of the day, The Charming Squire is your one-stop shop.
But, the restaurant and deli are just the tip of the iceberg; the venue also boasts an on-site brewery, two function spaces and a well-stocked bar that celebrates craft beer. The industrial and open-plan design of The Charming Squire creates a welcoming atmosphere that allows patrons to view the happenings of the brewery while enjoying their choice of beverage.
The bar boasts 22 tap beers and ciders, as well as wine taps. It has the full range of nine James Squire beers and two ciders plus unique brews that are made on-site. The food and drink available at the venue are designed to complement each other in order for the patrons to get the most of their brew house experience.
Every Brisbanite owes it to themselves to visit this game-changing new venue.
