The Bavarian at Westfield Chermside is set to launch at 11am this Wednesday, June 28.
Situated at Chermside’s recently opened (and very impressive) dining precinct, The Bavarian is the beer-centric sibling to the well-loved Bavarian Bier Café.
Stepping out of NSW for the first time, The Bavarian is a huge 400-seat venue that will occupy an entire corner of the Chermside dining precinct.
Get ready to settle in for a night of steins, schnitzels and snacking with your best mates in cool-yet-contemporary surrounds. The indoor-outdoor seating set-up spills out into a beer garden, which will be home to several large-screen TVs.
If you’re familiar with the best of Bavaria and your mouth is already watering at the thought of endless brews and burgers, make sure you leave room for a free hotdog. That’s right, The Bavarian are giving away 500 free hotdogs to the first people in line on opening day!
And if that’s not a big enough drawcard, other items on the menu include The Bavarian’s famous crispy pork knuckle, cracking pork belly, house-made sausages, spicy chicken wings (in three levels of delicious intensity) and a section devoted solely to schnitzels (uh, yes please!).
Can’t make it to the launch? Not to worry, the menu is available seven days a week. And for all those sweet tooths, The Bavarian will offer New York cheesecake and apple strudel as well as house-made sorbets and gelato.
But if it’s your thirst that needs quenching after all that shopping, you’ll find 17 beers on tap (all expertly matched with dishes from the menu) and a broad range of bottled beers, lagers and 2-litre beer tubes designed to complement a group meal and filled with a brew of your choice.
It’s safe to say The Bavarian Chermside is taking things up a notch. So, if you can’t resist a cheeky stein (or three) make sure you check out their Facebook page to stay up-to-date with all the action.
And because jokes about German sausages are the wurst, save yourself any potential disappointment by getting down to Westfield Chermside tomorrow before all the free hotdogs are gone!
