Brisbane get excited as we are getting our very own Taco Bell.  Yes, you read correctly. The whole enchilada is coming to town!

After months mourning the loss of the local Sizzler restaurant, which stood for some 31-years before closing its doors, Annerley residents can wipe away their tears and satisfy their food cravings with the new Taco Bell restaurant to be built on the site.

Plans for the restaurant were reportedly passed by Brisbane City Council in May, with rumours that the purpose built building will be licensed, so you can enjoy a crisp Corona with your Quesadilla.

This will be the second time Taco Bell has tried to crack the Australian market after closing its Sydney based stores in 2005, after nearly two-decades.

But Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine has enjoyed a massive surge in popularity over the last few years all-throughout Australia and we are so excited to welcome Taco Bell back to our sandy shores.
