Brisbane City's Stylish New Dining Experience Is Here!

Stanton Café & Bar is QueensPlaza’s stylish new dining experience, offering visitors the chance to sit back, relax and dine in a truly majestic food haven, and we tried it for ourselves.

One step into Stanton Café & Bar and you’re instantly transported to a boujee breakfast, a luxe lunch or decadent dinner setting. The design of the café is an instant standout where vintage finds meet modern aesthetics. Curated by award-winning interior designer Melissa Collison, the space marries strategic lighting, eclectic style and chandeliers with antiques, woven Persian rugs and bespoke wallpaper ready to grace your 
Instagram feed.

With lounge, sit down dining space and outdoor terrace options, a long lunch has never looked so lush. Escape the buzz of the Brisbane streets with a glass of bubbles at the bar or tuck into their menu boasting hearty and wholesome eats. The venue may lean on the side of luxury, but the menu offers bites similar to that of family dinners, comfort foods and something a little special. From their signature Stanton pie, steak frites and chipotle chicken burger, add a bit of deluxe to your dining experience and opt for the light double baked crab soufflé – something not often found on an inner-city menu.

Adding to QueensPlaza’s already luxurious experience offering, the food is served on plates as pretty as the décor – with each detail carefully considered. The breakfast menu is classic, but creative on flavour with the eggs benedict bursting with taste from the house-made hollandaise and Stanton glazed maple and five spiced leg ham. For those with an insatiable sweet tooth, the buttermilk pancakes are hard to beat. Both fluffy and fruity, these hot cakes have certainly been made with love and care in the kitchen. Pair it with the delicious Stanton coffee blend with notes of soft vanilla and juicy red berry notes, selection of teas or Stanton’s signature breakfast Bloody Mary cocktail.

After breakfast, from 11.30am until late, Matthew Boyce, Kim Jarvis and Dean Blanchard (head chef) and their teams warm up the pizza oven, kitchens and bar to serve up traditional Napoli style pizzas, along with an all day menu and tapas to your table for lunch or dinner. Finish with a drink at Stanton’s rounded timber bar, perfect for after work drinks or a post shopping sip and choose from a carefully curated wine list showcasing boutique brands and an extensive high-quality cocktail list. We recommend the spiced rum and ginger.
