Stop What You’re Doing! There’s An Epic (And Free) Seafood Festival Coming To Brisbane

If you’re allergic to shellfish, we feel bad for you.

We don’t mean to alarm anyone, but it’s just been announced that Brisbane will be home to an amazing new seafood festival this October. Sea to the City will be a shellfish lover’s dream, taking over Eagle Street’s dining precinct on 7 October. The heroes of the day will, of course, be everyone’s favourites, oysters and Moreton Bay bugs, but other ocean bites like calamari and crab will also be available.

In traditional foodie trail style, the festival will unite 15 different restaurants from the area to create special menus for the event, as well as a number of market stalls and pop-up bars. There’ll be plenty of live music too, and the entire event can be enjoyed from Eagle Street Pier, all the way over to Customs House. Already keen to go? Us too. Especially as it’s free to attend!

There are plenty more details to come, so make sure you keep an eye out here.
