Perfect after a stressful day, a relaxed day or even just for the sake of it, wine is there to make you happy. If you can personally relate to this statement then you might want to sit down, because we have big news.

Are you ready? There’s a festival dedicated to wine coming to Brisbane. It’s okay to squeal, we did too. I mean, yes we get excited over any festival, but wine is taking this up a level we never knew it would reach.

That’s right, you heard us, Brisbane is getting Pinot Palooza this year and we couldn’t be more excited to attend. Their biggest event will run on the 14th and 15th of October and is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. That’s right, Brisbane, the place that never gets the best things, is getting the best wine festival this side of the equator.

With over 100 of Australia and New Zealand’s best wine makers gathering in one spot we don’t know where we would start. That means hundreds of different wines for us to sample, purchase and enjoy, these are happy tears I promise.

Paired with some of Brisbane’s best restaurants, there will be a selection of cheese, charcuterie boards, grilled meats and other delicious snacks for us to enjoy with our glass of wine.

There’s even a VIP day on Saturday where you get to enjoy some of the fancy schmancy wine, as well as a beer, a meal and the opportunity to talk all things grape with wine experts. If you weren’t into the VIP experience, there are general festivities on Sunday.

If that wasn’t enough there’s even an epic crystal Plumm RedB glass given to all entrants, for all of your posh wine drinking times. It’s sexy, silky and suave, what more can you want in your wine?

So gather your wine drinking friends and make a day of it. Maybe bring your stretchy pants too, because you’ll have a wine baby by the end of this.

Hosted in the Lightspace in Fortitude Valley this uber cool event is sure to fill up fast so be sure you get your tickets now. We have ours!
