Noosa-based Miss Moneypenny’s is a fan favourite. I think we can all agree that the Bottomless Brunch is worth the trip if you don’t live near there and especially if you do. So, we’ve got some great news, Miss Moneypenny’s is expected to open on the Gold Coast later this year thanks to a new dining precinct!

That’s right, you heard correctly. Miss Moneypenny’s is opening on the Gold Coast this year. Who do you thank? That would be The Good Time Group. The announcement in 2017 revealed the development of a new precinct. A $7 million investment which would solely operate the food and beverage retail space under the Avani apartment tower in Broadbeach. And now, CEO Ben Walsh has recently announced that the new multi-venue dining precinct would be opening later this year.

What does this mean for you? More food choices! Our excitement about Miss Moneypenny’s is too hard to contain, but let’s not forget the other notable restaurants that will be opening. Fat Freddy’s Beach Bar & Diner, and The Rimini Room. And for any of you that are worried about size, have no fear. This massive undertaking spans 1,900 square metres. Miss Moneypenny’s has indoor/outdoor seating for 200 people, and Freddy’s Beach Bar & Diner is big enough to encompass a luxury gaming lounge on top of their 165 indoor/outdoor capacity. The Rimini Room will also be able to host 120 guests. Saying these restaurants are a comfortable size would be an understatement.

The most amazing part about this endeavour? Each restaurant has a different personality, something for every occasion. Miss Moneypenny’s has a heavy focus on social dining. You can expect a stunning fireplace as the centrepiece. Fat Freddy’s Beach Bar & Diner has a unique American-style sports bar and diner – a modernised version of an American diner, playing all the live sport you could hope for and taking throwback to the next level. The playlist focuses on rock and electro from the 70s, 80s and 90s. The Rimini Room has your private and high-end dining experience covered. Think A-List parties, long lunches and corporate dinners. It features its own private elevator, and a private outdoor seating area scattered by lounges. Privacy is a strong focus, with a private elevator and a private outdoor area.

Fat Freddy’s Beach Bar & Diner opens in August 2019, followed by Miss Moneypenny’s and The Rimini Room. We’d say get excited, but let’s face it, we already are.
