We can’t think of anything more extra than munching on a lobster, washed down with a glass of champers. The newest Brisbane pop-up is sending seafood enthusiasts into a frenzy, with a temporary Lobster Roll & Champagne offering by The Lobster Shack filling our dreams and our plates.
After sell-out debuts in Sydney, Melbourne and the GC, Brisbane is finally on the menu. Indulge in a slice of luxury and swap your packed lunch for freshly caught seafood. The Lobster Shack uses wild caught Clearwater Maine lobster tails slow cooked in a bath of butter, making for one mouth-watering seafood extravaganza. Wrapped in a freshly toasted brioche bun and paired with buttermilk slaw, your foodie senses will be tickling. And since normal fries just won’t do, the lobster rolls are served with a side of Parmesan Truffle fries for $35.
Not extravagant enough for your Thursday arvo feed? Throw in a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne for a total of $50, and you will be living the cheapest luxe life you possibly could.
Setting up shack across the road from the Barracks, street parking is available as well as inside the Barracks. You can pop-in Thursday through Sunday for the next two weeks, but you’ll have to get in early. Although the Lobster Shack has now doubled their orders to keep up with demand, they do stop selling for the day when they sell out so get in quick!
