Whether your Team Winter or Team Summer (or #teamjacob), there’s no denying that the cold weather can make leaving the house a little unbearable. If you need a new reason to convince you to venture outside, we have a pretty damn delicious one for you.

This winter Brisbane is levelling-up with the addition of yet another foodie laneway. Move aside, Melbourne. Titled Laneway WV, the laneway will be popping-up on Boundary St in West End’s West Village. With Salt Meats Cheese and Gelato Messina leading the proverbial show, we’ve definitely found our haunt for the remainder of winter. Set amongst the historic Peters Ice Cream Factory just off of the iconic Boundary St precinct, Laneway WV will bring a series of themed pop-ups to the cobblestone laneway up until October.

The MVPs at Salt Meats Cheese will be serving up their delicious fare – including vegan pizzas, gorgonzola gnocchi and crispy porchetta – while the Gelato Messina team will be keeping you warm after sundown with their iconic hot chocolate, the Bombe Choc Alaska. If that’s not enough, they will also have a selection of their delish gelato cakes on hand. Decked out with fairy lights and a Roman-style alfresco dining space, Laneway WV is sure to tempt us outdoors.

Where: West Village, West End
