We may not have been Jamie’s first choice…or fourth! But we think he must favour us somewhat, as Brisbane is now his biggest Jamie’s Italian in Australia, spanning over two levels. We forgive you Jamie.

As the fifth Jamie’s Italian in Australia, Karen Westfield, Jamie’s Italian Australia general manager says they hope Brisbane patrons will revel in the modern twist on the historical design aesthetic and interactive dining experience.

Situated within the historical and heritage listed Rowes Arcade on Edward Street, the highly anticipated Jamie’s Italian Restaurant is abundant with atmosphere and family friendly appeal, accommodating up to 240 guests over two levels.

The split level restaurant features a stunning bar, Queensland inspired leadlight glass features and a custom made chandelier, which, sitting alongside the brass fittings gives the interior a distinct urban feel. For the intimate dining experience check out the basement level, with its exposed original stone walls, leather banquette seating and lower ceilings reflecting a club lounge vibe.

Now let’s talk food! Starting from $42, set menus offer a range of delicious options, including the restaurant’s most popular dish, Prawn Linguine as well as Jamie’s famous polenta chips and special tiramisu.

In addition to the standard a la carte menu, created by Jamie Oliver together with fellow Chef and lifelong mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, three feasts will be available, allowing diners to enjoy the complete Jamie’s Italian experience.

In a first for Jamie’s Italian Australia, the Brisbane restaurant also offers diners a sneak peak at what’s happening in the kitchen through glass paneling on the prep kitchen.

Jamie’s Italian will also be offering a festive feast from November 24 to December 31 for $58 per person, including a glass of Frizzante on arrival, antipasti planks to share, a main and a dessert. Just look at their epic brownie - Yum!
