Nineteen at The Star | Broadbeach
If sipping on signature cocktails and watching the Gold Coast skyline glitter to life is your perfect night out, then we have the spot for you. Nestled poolside on top of luxury hotel The Darling, Nineteen at the Star is truly the epitome of indulgence. Not only can you find award-winning wine and food, but you can also hear some of Australia’s best DJs pumping out the prime set list for a luxe pool party. The Island Rooftop | Surfers Paradise
If you’re a Goldie local, then you already know about The Island Rooftop Bar – a go-to for both sunshine sippin’ and star-lit bar crawls. As Gold Coast’s largest open-aired bar in the heart of Surfers, The Island is sure to provide a little something for cocktail connoisseurs and bar-hoppers alike. Mr P.P.’s Deli and Rooftop | Southport
Fancy a gin with a side of history? Mr P.P.’s Deli and Rooftop is GC’s own little nod to the past, named after the towns first ever post and telegraph master who called this bar home from 1883-1886. Mr P.P.’s has gone above and beyond to pay respect to the local legend, adoring the walls with various murals and quotes by P.P. himself. Take a trip down memory lane and visit one of Gold Coast’s most unique heritage-listed sites, with epic live music and tasty bar treats aplenty.
The Exhibitionist | Surfers Paradise
The Exhibitionist is the new kid on the block and proving to be a serious contender. Seated high on the rooftop of HOTA Gallery, this rooftop bar offers something a little different from the others. Once you have one of their famous frosés and picture-perfect pizzas, you’ll be thanking us later. Or, if you want a little extra sophistication, head on next door to The Tropic and experience some of GC’s best fine-dining, whilst still getting that all necessary ocean breeze. Pink Monkey Bar & Grill | Burleigh
Immerse yourself in a constant glow of neon pink down the road at Pink Monkey. Whilst still grabbing some of those epic ocean views, Pink Monkey offers a more edgy bar atmosphere than those of its competitors on the shore-side. And, best yet, there’s an abundance of pink cocktails on offer – it’s a Legally Blonde dream come true.
Frida Sol | Palm Beach
Right in the palm of Gold Coast’s surf community, Frida Sol is the sister restaurant of Mermaid’s iconic Mexican establishment, Bonita Bonita. Wrap your senses in the luxurious hacienda-style décor, festoon lights, and, of course, the sultry salty breeze, whilst chowing down on some of the best tacos of the Goldie. Get in early on a Friday between 7pm and 10 pm to catch their Acoustic Sesh, supporting some of Palmy’s best local acts.
